Open to the families of the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center

The Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is pleased to be hosting a series of access workshops for teens and adults with disabilities and/or movement disorders with New York City Ballet (NYBC). The NYBC Access Programs provide experiences for children and adults with disabilities to interact with the Company. Participants of the workshop will also be able to enjoy complimentary tickets to the NYCB matinee performance that afternoon.
NYCB dancers will guide participants in accessible choreography inspired by the Company's performances, followed by a ballet matinee. Each participant is entitled to receive a total of 2 performance tickets. To receive performance tickets, the individual must participate in the movement workshop. Tickets are non-transferable. Wheelchair transfer and aisle seating is available in limited capacity.

11:00 - 12:15: Movement Workshop, The Samuel B. & David Rose Building, 70 Lincoln Center
NYCB Dancers will guide participants in an accessible warm-up and choreography inspired by the performance they will be seeing later that afternoon. Performance tickets will be distributed at the movement workshop check-in.
12:15 - 14:00: Lunch
Participants are responsible for their own lunch. You can check out the Lincoln Center area restaurants, or grab a bite to eat at the cafeteria in the lobby of the workshop building.
14:00 - 16:00 NYCB Matinee Performance, David H. Koch Theater, 20 Lincoln Center
The lobby spaces open for ticket holders at 13:00. Please arrive at the theater at 1:30pm so you can get settled in your seats and explore the space before the show starts.
