WFCPC Executive Director and pediatric neurologist Jason B. Carmel, MD, PhD, was one of the first guests to appear on the Neurorehab Resources and Insights podcast in an episode titled Neurorecovery Across the Lifespan.” He was joined by adult neurologist Dr. Steven Zeiler of Johns Hopkins University.

Pediatric stroke is the most common cause of hemiplegia, yet brain injury or a neurological diagnosis can occur at any point in life. In this episode, the guests discuss how neurorehabilitation plays a critical role in improving function and quality of life. They explore what is currently known about neurorecovery in both pediatric and adult populations, as well as exciting new frontiers in neurorehabilitation research aimed at enhancing recovery across the lifespan.
