14th WFCPC-AACPDM LifeShots Photo Contest Now Open

Select entry photos will be displayed at the 80th AACPDM Meeting in Philadelphia

May 14, 2026

The Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center is proud to support the 12th American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) LifeShots Photo Contest. The photo contest features a one-of-a-kind digital gallery to inspire viewers to overcome their many challenges.

The Academy will select the top photos for display at the 80th AACPDM Annual Meeting that will take place in September 27-23, 2026, in Philadelphia. This year, the photo gallery will be digital. The top three submissions will be recognized upon the conclusion of the meeting. The 1st place winner will receive a professionally mounted enlargement of their submitted photo and a $500 Amazon gift card. Check out the AACPDM LifeShots Photo Contest page for entry details. Entries must be received by July 26, 2026.

Entries should feature photos of individuals affected by cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities in the midst of doing what they enjoy or completing a basic task or celebrating a major accomplishment. The photos can contain family members and care providers but we must have a photo release for each person in the photo.

Fun fact, the 2024 winner was WFCPC family member Christopher Kotecki, with the photo "Ball is Life" featuring his son, Keaton.
