Vicki Ann Iannotti, MD
Overview
I believe the relationship of the pediatrician and the new parent is a partnership for the newborn, an unspoken contract to support the growth and development of the child to attain their greatest potential. The doctor/patient relationship grows with each encounter, from the realization of the young child that the doctor is linked to maintaining good health, the preteen struggles that are shared, the adolescent who can question and confide, to the college age patient who feels confident to seek answers to their deepest concerns and share their dreams and accomplishments. I am fortunate to be able to serve this role in the lives of my patients and their families as each has enriched my life and continues to do so every day in the practice of medicine.
Dr. Iannotti brings 26+ years of pediatric experience and expertise to community practice with Columbia Primary Care, to care for children and their families in a personalized, patient centered medical home environment. Her inpatient experience includes newborn nursery care, pediatric inpatient care at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, Valhalla, and leading the medical care of medically fragile children as the Chief Medical Officer at Elizabeth Seton Children’s in Yonkers, NY. Dr. Iannotti has worked on numerous committees to ensure quality and safety, pharmacy and therapeutics, infection control and sepsis evaluation and treatment. She has taught innumerable medical students and residents serving as a mentor and role model to many.
