Minnelly Vasquez, LCSW
Overview
Minnelly Vasquez is a licensed Clinical Social Worker for the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center. She received her BA in psychology and human development and family studies from UCONN and her Master of Social Work from Fordham University. She completed internships at state agencies and outpatient clinical settings working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, where she developed skills in the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD and suicidal behaviors.
Minnelly specializes in treatment of individuals and families with disabilities. She is passionate about incorporating diversity, equity and inclusion when treating patients for their mental health needs. Minnelly works collaboratively with patients in creating a mental health treatment plan, and she provides evidence-based care including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to individuals and groups.
