CP Community Day 2026

CP Community Day is our biggest event dedicated to the cerebral palsy community, attracting hundreds of guests each year. Connect with families and community partners, and meet our team while enjoying food and activities for the entire family.

ACTIVITIES LINE UP *

• Lunch on the Plaza **

  • No outdoor event is complete without truck food and ice-cream! Grab lunch from our food trucks and coast through our activities.

• Giveaways **

  • Complete our bingo to claim some goodies.

  • Colgate-Palmolive Bright Smiles Bright Futures oral health education program will be giving away pediatric oral health kits.

• Meet & Greet

  • Meet our award winning therapy dogs Clyde, Baloo and Dakota.

  • Our Patient Family Advisory Council PFAC Ambassadors are a wealth of knowledge. They’re here to share experience and resources with you. 

• Health

  • Vist the Columbia School of Nursing table for a health screening. Everyone is welcome, including caregivers.

  • ColumbaDoctors Dentistry will be there to check on your oral health.

  • Get a foot or spine screening with the Columbia Programs in Physical Therapy team.

  • Don't miss the Columbia Programs in Occupational Therapy station for some fun sensory processing and functional mobility activities.

• Wellness & Adaptive Sports

  • Shoot some hoops at the Tri-Boro Legends wheelchair basketball clinic.

• Equipment

  • Sample the hi-tech clinical and neuro technologies from Neuro Rehab Recovery.

  • NewYork-Presbyterian Seating and Mobility Program will show their equipment.

  • Check out bracing options with OP Specialty Bracing.

• Informational Tabling

  • Our Movement Recovery Lab researchers will share how they translate clinical research to recover movement.

  • Brains come in all sorts of sizes. Check them out at the Bain Brain Lab.

  • Learn about employment opportunities with Columbia's Disability ERG, Project PossABILITY and JobPath.

  • Elizabeth Seton Children's will share their care and education offerings.

  • Find out about services and school options with iHope.

  • Get your face painted by Julie Morales from Columbia Orthopedics
